vintage style: crochet tanks

Today has been a loooong day and I suspect tomorrow will be even longer, but I’m back with some pink and orange fashion for y’all today because I told you I couldn’t get enough and I just wanted to make sure you knew I was serious. I’m fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to wear practically whatever I want and in this terribly hot weather that has been absolutely key in my overall happiness. I just cannot function in 100 degree weather unless I’m wearing something like this. Short shorts and breathable tanks, please! I don’t even care that it means you can see right through my shirt. I just don’t.

I’ve also been in the process of growing my bangs out for the weather because I’m through with hair sticking with sweat to my face for now. But I gotta tell you guys that I’m thisclose to cutting them again. Is there anything more annoying than the growing out stages? All tips welcome.

Despite it all, we braved the weather this afternoon to venture over to our neighborhood thrift shop and found ourselves a mighty good haul! Plus, I’ve got some trips lined up for the weekend and anticipate the same results. Check back in on Monday for shop and blog updates that won’t disappoint. Heads up: coming your way is the weirdest 1920s ashtray I’ve ever seen.

Have a great weekend!

    • I know what you mean, Kristin! I’m still not sold on it, but I’m gonna keep resisting the urge to cut them just in case one of these days I start looking like some retro 70s hair babe.
